End of Life Doula Services
Crossroads End of Life Doula Services offers a wide range of compassionate, holistic services to support individuals and their families through the end-of-life journey. Every person's needs are unique, and services can be tailored to meet you where you are.
Consultation
An initial conversation to discuss your needs, concerns, and goals. This is an opportunity to ask questions, explore options, and determine how I can best support you and your family during this time.
Anticipatory Planning
Thoughtful preparation for the dying process before it begins. We work together to document wishes, coordinate care, and create a plan that reflects your values and preferences so nothing is left to chance.
Swedish Death Cleaning
A compassionate approach to decluttering and organizing your belongings and affairs while you are still able to participate. This process eases the burden on loved ones and allows you to decide what legacy you leave behind.
Bedside Vigil
Compassionate presence at the bedside during the active dying process. I sit with the dying person and their family, offering comfort, calm, and continuity of care so that no one faces this passage alone.
Holistic Rituals
Meaningful rituals tailored to your spiritual, cultural, or personal beliefs to honor the dying process. These may include prayer, meditation, music, aromatherapy, or other practices that bring peace and comfort.
Final Wishes
Assistance documenting and honoring your final wishes, including preferences for memorial services, disposition of remains, personal messages, and any other meaningful requests you want carried out.
Life Review
A guided process of reflecting on your life story — your experiences, relationships, accomplishments, and lessons learned. This can be deeply healing and provides a meaningful record for loved ones.
Vision Mapping
A collaborative process to clarify and document your vision for the end-of-life experience you want, helping ensure your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are understood and honored.
Guided Imagery
The use of calming, visualization-based techniques to reduce anxiety, promote relaxation, and support emotional and spiritual well-being during the dying process.
Legacy Projects
Creative projects designed to capture and preserve your life story, values, and memories for the people you love. Examples include memory books, recorded stories, letters, artwork, and ethical wills.
Grief Processing
Compassionate support for family members and loved ones navigating grief before, during, and after the death. This is a safe, non-judgmental space to process emotions and begin to heal.
Services Coordinator
Assistance coordinating between hospice, palliative care, medical providers, funeral homes, and other services so that you and your family can focus on being present with one another.
